What does YÂDÂH Ministries stand for?

YÂDÂH Ministries was founded by René Botha in 1997. (www.yadahministries.co.za )

Yâdâh is a Hebrew verb with a root meaning “the extended hand, to throw out the hand”; therefore, “to worship with extended hand.” The antonym is to bemoan by wringing of the hands. Yâdâh means to willfully throw your hands up to praise with power.  Lifting your hands is almost always equivalent to a Yâdâh, especially when listening to music.

When Leah gave birth to Judah, her 4th son, and only then she yâdâh God. For the first time she acknowledged that God was answering thecry of  her heart. For the first time she was looking to God instead of to her husband for comfort. This attitude of her heart open the door for Judah to became the leader tribe of Israel.
